Jim Albright serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for carrying out the business activity of Texas RE. Previously, he was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and oversaw the Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP) at Texas RE, and chaired the Steering Committee for the ERO Enterprise’s complex Align Project.

Before joining Texas RE in 2013, Mr. Albright was the Deputy Executive Director at the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), where he served in various management positions guiding the organization through identification and implementation of strategic technology and business processes for over 15 years. Throughout his time with the PUCT, he collaborated with all levels of state government ranging from working with legislative leaders to task forces that executed and implemented statewide goals and objectives. Prior to his work at the PUCT, Mr. Albright worked in finance and technology positions at the Texas Department of Economic Development, USAA Investment Management Company, and Grant Thornton.

Mr. Albright earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas - Permian Basin.
