Throughout the year Texas RE hosts several major workshops that focus on themed topics such as winter preparedness, critical infrastructure protection, or Reliability Standards. Below is a list of all major workshops for the year, with registration and information links for those in the future, and recordings and presentation materials for those that have already occured.
Texas RE's Women's Leadership in Grid Reliability and Security Conference will be held on March 5, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central. This virtual-only event will be dedicated to highlighting the impact of women working to maintain the reliability and security of the electric grid. It will feature a range of speakers and panels on pertinent industry topics, as well as conversations on attracting diverse talent to the field. The workshop is geared towards highlighting women in the industry, but is open to all interested in attending.
Texas RE's 2024 Spring Standards, Security, and Reliability Workshop will be held on April 24, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central. This in-person and virtual workshop is intended for all stakeholders in the Texas Interconnection and will feature speakers from Texas RE and external entities.
Texas RE's Reliability 101 & 201 is a webinar series designed for stakeholders who are new to the electric reliability industry, reliability standards, or their role. Attendance is open to anyone who wants a refresher on compliance and enforcement basics, NERC and Texas RE history, introductions to various program areas, or how to get involved with Texas RE. Additional 201 sessions are also included in the series for more in-depth discussions.
Texas RE's 2024 Cyber and Physical Security Workshop will be held on August 28, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central. This workshop is intended for all stakeholders in the Texas Interconnection and will feature speakers from Texas RE and external entities.
