On October 16, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central Texas RE will conduct an Understanding New Generator Obligations training session. This virtual-only event will be a walkthrough of new generator Reliability Standards, registration requirements, and other obligations for users, owners, and operators of the Bulk Power System (BPS) in the Texas Interconnection.

Erin Quigley is the manager of registration & certification at Texas RE. Erin first joined Texas RE in July 2022 as a risk assessment engineer. Prior to coming to Texas RE, she supported real-time operations of ERCOT's Market Management System, as well as LCRA's Generation Management System. She holds a B.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Rachel Coyne is the executive chief of staff at Texas RE, where she oversees cross-departmental projects and manages the Reliability Standards program. Before coming to Texas RE she worked on the enforcement team at the Western Electric Coordinating Council (WECC). Rachel has a B.A. in economics from Rhodes College.

Diego Bailey is a risk assessment engineer at Texas RE where he conducts inherent risk assessments and develops compliance oversight plans for entities as well as determining the scope of engagements. Prior to working at Texas RE he worked for Wind Energy Transmission of Texas as a SCADA analyst, as a transmission operator with LS Power, and served as a Navy Nuclear Electrician. Diego has a B.A.S. in energy management and is a certified NERC Reliability Coordinator.

Venona Greaff oversees the NERC compliance program for Occidental Energy’s cogeneration fleet. She has more than 30 years experience in the energy sector with more than 15 years in power generation. Venona previously served on the Project 2010-1 PER-005-2 and Project 2007-06.2 PER-006-1 Standard Drafting Teams and is currently on Project 2019-06 Cold Weather. She is also the secretary for the North American Generator Forum. She holds a bachelor of science degree in cybersecurity policy and management from the University of Maryland University College.

Blair Giffin is the manager of O&P Compliance at Texas RE. He joined the company in 2022 as an operations and planning compliance engineer with over 18 years of electric industry experience, having worked for MISO, SPP, LCRA, and Nextera Energy. Blair holds a BSEE from Louisiana State University and is a NERC certified Reliability Coordinator.

Devin Ferris is manager of CIP compliance monitoring at Texas RE and has been with the company since 2018. He has over 8 years Information Technology experience. Prior to joining Texas RE, Devin worked as an IT risk management specialist and IT business solutions analyst. Mr. Ferris has been a member of the Texas Air National Guard since 2013, where his primary duties include monitoring, assessing, and maintaining Information Technology systems in accordance with Department of Defense and United States Air Force regulations.
