GADS Reporting Deadlines

The Q1-Q3 2024 reporting deadlines for Generation Availability Data Systems (GADS) have been extended to December 19, 2024, to provide additional time for entities to complete the new reporting requirements. Changes contain updates to wind and combined cycle unit reporting, and solar facilities over 100 MW are now included. NERC has also moved the wind and solar apps to an OATI software platform similar to thermal unit GADS and the Transmission Availability Data System (TADS). Data is critical for work on NERC and Texas RE performance reports early next year. Generator Owners (GOs) are encouraged to review training materials and begin reporting.
