Texas RE’s annual membership registration and renewal period is now open and ends on October 29, 2025. The 2026 membership term runs from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026. Membership in Texas RE is free and open to any user, owner, or operator of the Bulk Power System in the Texas Interconnection that qualifies for one of six membership sectors: System Coordination and Planning, Transmission and Distribution, Cooperative Utility, Municipal Utility, Generation, or Load-Serving and Marketing. All eligible entities are encouraged to become members of Texas RE.

Benefits
Texas RE members vote on Texas RE’s governance and have the opportunity to serve on the Member Representatives Committee (MRC), which provides advice to the Board of Directors. For more information on the rights and duties of Texas RE members, please visit our website and review Membership.

Renewal of Current Members

The current term of membership in Texas RE expires on October 31, 2025. Current members must complete a Membership Form annually. For reference, the list of current member companies is posted here. 

New Members

Registered entities that are not currently Texas RE members will need to submit a Membership Agreement in addition to their Membership Form.
